# PIR

## PIR

* Go to Configuration->Event->PIR

PIR stands for Passive Infrared Detection. The sensor can detect the human, animals etc. The PIR menu has two tabs: Schedule and Action. If the camera has no PIR hardware interfaces, there is a notification: Note: The device does not support this feature.

The PIR menu has three tabs: Basic Settings, Schedule and Action:
